When I sang my first song
Today is the inter hostel/dorm competition at IIT Kharagpur for Western Music Groups performance (Wishing all the best to LLR Hall!). So I did some digging of past videos and came across the video of the first song I sang on stage! The song is a Nirvana medley – Jesus don’t want me for a sunbeam, Man who sold the world and Smells like teen spirit.
Guitars: Rishi Doshi and Anurag Minz
Bass: Soham Pal
Keyboards: Apratim Dhar
Drums: Vikas Birthire
Vocals: Pramod Rao
The performance was way back in Spring 2005 and was for the inter hall/dorm competition. Those were the days when I used to carry huge sheets of papers with lyrics to read out from (totally screws the stage presence! But hey… it was my 1st time anyways :)). Check it out below!
Found the 2nd song I sang too. Again, from the same performance. This one is Nothing else matters.
